The Brief
The brief was to renovate and convert a traditional coastguard cottage in the village of Catterline which is situated in an Aberdeenshire conservation area. The layout was reconfigured to suit contemporary living.

A sympathetic renovation of one of the original coastguard cottages in the coastal village and conservation area of Catterline.
The Design
The completed project was sympathetic to the original cottage and updated for contemporay living. A new kitchen/dining space and small utility room was created at the rear of the dwelling. An en-suite to the priniciple bedroom maximises views over Aberdeenshire.
